El Centro, Inc. is located at 650 Minnesota Avenue (corner of 7th and Minnesota) in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Kansas. The two-story building is approximately 24,000 square feet and home to El Centro’s administrative and program staff, nine other non-profit organizations and four for-profit companies. The first floor has a board room with seating for 12 to 16, and a conference room with seating (classroom or lecture hall layout) for 25 plus. Off street parking is provided.

We are proud to create synergy within the non-profit community, as we partner with our fellow agencies to provide services to the individuals and families we serve.  Even our for-profit tenants do business with El Centro and provide services to our clients.

El Centro serves families in Johnson and Wyandotte counties, and our programming, includes Pre-K education, financial literacy and homebuyer education, Promotaras de Salud, health navigation and information, and policy advocacy.  El Centro provides services in three locations throughout Kansas City, Kansas and Olathe. El Centro’s mission is to, “Strengthen communities and improve the lives of Latinos and others through educational, social, and economic opportunities.”
