Debra’s area of expertise includes organizational and board development, fiscal management, information management, and fund development.
Her career experience encompasses both the nonprofit and for-profit community, including serving as vice president for a community developer, previous executive director opportunities, and as an independent consultant. Debra is a frequent presenter and educator and has served as adjunct professor at both Hauptmann School of Public Affairs at Park University and Ottawa University.
Debra holds a degree in Business Administration from the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Ottawa University. Her nonprofit expertise includes advanced training for consultants from BoardSource. She serves on the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City Foundation board and is a member of the Overland Park Regional Medical Center’s Advisory Board. In 2010, she was named one of Kansas City’s Influential Women by the Kansas City Business Magazine.

Jenne specializes in overseeing organizational operations with a focus on alignment of procedures, policies, and staffing.

As Chief Operating Officer, she brings over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the education and nonprofit industries to Support KC. Jenne joined Support KC in 2018.
Prior to joining Support KC, she served as Assistant Vice President for a Division II university foundation. Jenne has served on a number of regional professional boards and corporate advisory boards. Most recently, Jenne has presented regionally and nationally on prospect management, board management, annual giving, and constituent engagement. Currently, she is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Jenne holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Western Oregon University, master’s degree in student development administration from Seattle University, and a doctorate in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Missouri.

As Client Data Administrator, Evan brings expertise in data analysis and reporting to the database team. He also supports the database implementation process.
Prior to joining Support KC, Evan worked with the fund development office at a private university where he conducted prospect research, developed fundraising reports and provided administrative support to fundraisers.
Evan is currently studying political science and nonprofit leadership at Rockhurst University.

Lynda brings expertise in payroll management, accounting, tax requirements, and training to Support KC.
As Payroll Manger, Lynda provides payroll services and assistance to over 50 of Support KC’s nonprofit accounting clients and works with state tax departments on client accounts. She also manages the internal payroll for Support KC. Prior to joining Support KC, Lynda served at the Office Manager for an insurance agency and as a Commission and Accounting Manager for a local broker.
In addition to her extensive accounting background, Lynda has received training through the Professional Bookkeeper Program from the Universal Accounting Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also a member of the American Payroll Association.

Christy is a licensed CPA with public accounting experience serving small and mid-size entrepreneurial clients, including nonprofit organizations in Kansas and Missouri.

As Client Accounting Manager, Brian brings expertise in management reporting, budget development and planning, and internal accounting controls to Support KC.
Brian began his career an internal auditor in the for-profit sector, where he also gained experience as a corporate finance manager. Brian also has experience as an accountant for the Ellis Island Foundation and later as the director of administration and finance with an international membership-based organization.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University.
Catherine brings her experience in nonprofit accounting, with expertise in charitable gift annuities, endowments, and estates, to Support KC.
Catherine is a CPA and holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting with an emphasis in Taxation, both from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She serves as her church’s Treasurer and chair of its Finance Committee. Catherine is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of CPAs, and the Beta Gamma Sigma Society. She has also held memberships in the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and the Mid-America Planned Giving Council.

Elizabeth is a CPA licensed in Oregon, Kansas, and Missouri, with tax, audit, and accounting experience with for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental entities.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of CPAs. Her favorite accounting project is preparing IRS Form 990 because “it’s an intricate puzzle that creates a wonderful picture of an organization.”

Before joining Support KC, Debbie served as the Executive Director of Vaughn-Trent Community Services, Inc., where she standardized the accounting and fiscal management procedures for the nonprofit organization. Debbie has also served as the Associate Pastor of First Christian Church (DOC) of Bonner Springs.
In 2014, Debbie was named the 2014 Community Woman of the Year by Bonner Springs Business and Professional Women. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Linda has experience in nonprofit accounting and management as a staff member of the ALS Association and the Center for the Understanding the Built Environment. She has served as a volunteer for Belles of the American Royale (BOTAR) and the Junior League of Kansas City.

As a practicing attorney, Laura has also an extensive background in family law and cross-cultural communications. She received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service and International Law from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
Laura recently established her own law firm, which aims to provide affordable legal service to low-income clients. She also volunteers with Belles of the American Royal (BOTAR) and has served as its board treasurer and corresponding secretary.
