Johnson County Christmas Bureau – Festival of Trees
The Johnson County Christmas Bureau is presenting this year’s Festival of Trees at the Holiday Boutique, November 19-22 at the Overland Park Convention Center. The Festival of Trees is a display of uniquely decorated holiday trees, wreaths and table arrangements available through silent auction.
The JCCB is currently seeking groups or individuals interested in decorating and donating trees and wreaths that can be sold at the Festival of Trees. If you are interested in learning more or donating, please contact us at festival@jccb.org.
Donation barrels will be placed throughout the Holiday Boutique where shoppers can drop canned food and gently used coats for distribution to our neighbors in need this holiday season.
Tickets to the Holiday Boutique may be purchased through the JCCB website, which is www.JCCB.org. Use the link on the right side of the homepage labeled HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE TICKET PURCHASE LINK. To buy tickets online, tell your friends to use the code “JCCB” in the promo code box and receive a $3 discount per ticket, with $1 going directly to JCCB.
Proceeds from the Festival of Trees will help provide warmth and sustenance to around 14,000 low-income residents of Johnson County. At the annual Holiday Shop (December 3-12, location to be announced), pre-qualified clients will select groceries, personal care and household supplies, children’s clothing, hats, gloves, scarves, coats, toys, gifts and books for the holiday season.
