Jenne Vanderbout has been named Executive Director of Support Kansas City

Support Kansas City is thrilled to announce that Jenne Vanderbout has been named Executive Director of the organization, effective December 1, 2020.

Jenne brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit and education sectors, providing a collaborative and results-driven culture around her. Jenne joined SKC in March of 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer and was integral in the continued improvements to the organization’s processes and procedures, online infrastructure, and client relationship management.

For the last six months, Jenne has served as SKC’s Interim Executive Director. In that time, she has shown outstanding leadership. Tracy Hale, SKC Board Chair, stands in unity with the rest of the board in their confidence in Jenne, stating “I am thrilled about Jenne’s appointment and have complete faith in her ability to continue leading the SKC staff into a new chapter of growth and success.”

Reflecting on her new position, Jenne says “I am humbled and honored that the board would entrust the leadership of Support Kansas City to me, and excited about the opportunity to lead SKC and serve the Kansas City nonprofit community.”
