2016 Missouri Poverty Summit – April 27
On April 27, 2016 the Missourians to End Poverty Coalition will be hosting a statewide poverty summit at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City. The summit will provide an overview of poverty in Missouri, speakers including Dr. Tiffany Anderson, and a panel discussion sharing rural and urban approaches to addressing poverty. The poverty summit brings together between 350 and 500 participants across the state of Missouri.
This event gathers organizations and individuals to learn best practices and proven strategies to lift people out of poverty. The Poverty Summit recognizes that it takes community leaders, elected officials, business leaders, government agencies, advocates, scholars and everyday citizens working together to end poverty and income inequality. Join the Missourians to End Poverty Coalition if you support addressing poverty and making Missouri a better place to live for all people.
